Reflections 2009-2010

Hi everyone! It is that time of year: Reflection Projects!

This year's theme is: Beauty is...

Reflections is a cultural arts program that allows students to express themselves through their art form and be recognized for their skills, originality, and creativity. Students may submit their works in any of the eight art areas:

1-Literature (fiction or non-fiction, poetry and drama)
2-Visual arts (original print, drawing, painting, collage, etc)
3-Music Composition (voice, instruments or a combinations of both)
4-Dance (original choreographed dance)
5-Photography (original black and white or color image, or group of images)
6-Film/Video (original works of fiction or non-fiction)
7-Theater* (original theater work, individual storytelling, mime, etc)
8-Three Dimensional Artistic Creations (sculpture, jewelry, ceramics, visual arts)
*This is not a National PTA category and recognition will only be given at State level

NOTE: Some teachers require their students have at least one entry, so talk to your child's teacher if you are not sure.
Also, kids can enter as many categories as they want. HOWEVER, they must have a completed form to go along with each entry. Also, each category has its own form. Ask the office for a copy pertaining to the correct category.

DUE DATE
: All entries MUST be received by
Monday, November 2, 2009.

If you have questions about what Reflections is, please click here.

New Additional Apparel

Here is the information for the new additional Iron Springs apparel:

Even though the model shows a girl, that is because they are unisex hoodies and the manufacture chose a girl. But this will work great for any boy or girl. Also, just imagine these shirts with the school logo on it. The logo that will appear on these hoodies will be like the ones on the regular t-shirts.
  • 7.8-ounce, 50/50 cotton/poly fleece
  • Two-ply hood
  • No drawcord at hood
  • Set-in sleeves
  • Front pouch pocket
Colors Available: Maroon and Ash

Youth Sizes: XS(4), S(6-8), M(10-12), L(14-16), XL(18-20)

The other unisex hoodie available for boys and girls:

The logo on this shirt will be the same kind as the girls' hoodies.
  • 7.8-ounce, 50/50 cotton/poly fleece
  • Two-ply hood
  • No drawcord at hood
  • Set-in sleeves
  • Front pouch pockets
Color Available: Navy

Youth Sizes: XS(4), S(6-8), M(10-12), L(14-16), XL(18-20)

And introducing the LADIES' Polos for the female teachers!

The logo on these shirts will the same as the other polos we have for sale.
  • 5.5 oz., 60% ringspun cotton/40% polyester ladies' pique knit sport shirt.
  • Feminine fit.
  • Resists wrinkles and shrinkage.
  • Three white pearl buttons on reversed pocket.
  • Single-needle stitched cuffs, armholes and shoulders.

Colors available: Wine and white

Ladies' Sizes: S, M, L, XL, 2XL, 3XL

And here are some more Bella-style shirts. We searched high and low and finally found these in girl sizes!! Yay! Also, they are not long-style like the other ones we have available.

The logo for this shirt will be the same as the other Bella-style shirts we have.

  • 5.8 oz., 100% preshrunk combed ringspun cotton 1x1 baby rim knit t-shirt.
  • Narrow set-on binding around color and cuffs.
  • Double-needle stitched around collar, cuffs, and bottom hem.

Colors available: Chocolate and Leaf

Girls' Sizes: S(6-8), M(10-12), L(14-16)

We hope you are enjoying this year's t-shirts! Stay tuned for other updates! Also, don't forget, we are hoping to do those t-shirts with the backs that have the kids' self portraits for those who are interested. Please leave a comment here with any questions!
