SPRING PTA MEETING

Hello! We are having our Spring PTA General Meeting. It will be held in the Iron Springs Gym on Wednesday, March 18, 2009 at 5:30 PM.

The first graders will be singing a spring song and the Iron Springs Choir will also be singing.

We will also be having a vote on amending the budget, so we really need you all there to make your vote count.

If you have any questions, please leave a comment here and we will respond shortly.

PTA Budget Planning Meeting and Spring Meeting

On Monday (March 16) we are meeting at 1 PM in the teachers lounge to discuss the proposed budget changes for the Spring Meeting (Wed. March, 18). This is open to everyone. Please come help give us your input.

If you can't make it on Monday, still please come to the big Spring PTA Meeting on Wed. March 18 at 5:30. We will be voting on the budget changes. It is imperative that we get as many parents as we can so everyone gets to cast their vote about the budget changes. Also, the 1st graders and choir will be singing that night. So please come!

THE BOOK FAIR IS COMPLETE!

The annual "BUY ONE GET ONE FREE"

Book Fair was a success!

Thank you to all those that came by to purchase a book. The library was able to receive $467.86 worth of books due to your generosity.
A "BIG" thank you to all that volunteered to make this happen. Without the volunteers this would not be possible.

As we all know .... the Iron County School District has made large budget cuts that will effect our children.

As parents... we all need to find new ways to help.

Qwest for education has a new program

on their website.

They will give 1% back to our schools

just by signing up.

Christmas Alert

Join in the holiday spirit the last week of school (Dec 15 - 19) by dressing in the following manner:

Monday the 15th - Wear something green
Tuesday the 16th - Wear a Santa or holiday hat
Wednesday the 17th - Wear holiday socks
Thursday the 18th - Wear a holiday shirt
Friday the 19th - Wear something red

Also, there will be a Christmas Sing-a-longs at the school assemblies the same week. Parents are welcome!

Tuesday - 10:00 AM - 2nd Grade
Wednesday - 12:55 PM - 3rd Grade and Orchestra
Thursday - 1:30 PM - 4th Grade
Friday - 1:30 PM - 5th Grade

There will be a special musical performance of the Honor Choir on Thursday, December 18th at 6:30 PM.
